Devoted supporters of the actress are demanding that a man who jumped a barricade and grabbed the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the Australian man pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors made its way down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being detained", though legal records showed that he was set to attend court on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last winter.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is evidently a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Past Trauma

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented one more response on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some demanded digital services to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In clips shared widely, Grande appeared surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Numerous of attendees had gathered in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including some who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The movie, to be released on 21 November, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely bond between two contrasting witches.

The production itself is a spin-off of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble featuring roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of last year in the UK, and scored a dozen award recognitions, securing several for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
