Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
